A key component in the skyrocketing success of the boiling-hot Brothers From Different Mothers imprint, the formerly both Lyon-based duo’s melange of synth-pop, Balearic and soft trance has formed the basis of releases for their longstanding label affiliate and home of their first release, as well as spells at Macadam Mambo and Animals Dancing.

As they’ve grown, so too has their sound. It’s still fresh and psychedelic as ever, but there’s more focus on the use of instruments and a wider palette of influences, plus they’ve invited a third member into the fold for their second LP on BFDM – Les Charismatiques. Touching on everything from psych rock, new wave, trance, dub and folk, it’s a unapologetically dramatic album.

Record collectors, live performers, Lyl radio show curators, unpredictable DJ’s.. Louis & Guillaume have spent the last 10 years in a constant effort to surprise while they deliberately put a touch of irony in their music with unexpected feelings and ideas. Mourning their beloved BFDM mothership, they opened their horizon with a kaleidoscopic genre release on Nacht label called Leuven Works. Defining the new direction the band wants to take, within a live tour in 2024, multiple side projects and collaborations, they follow a unique path in the contemporary electronic landscape.
